Nick received his BFA in Musical Theatre with a Minor in Dance at Millikin University in Decatur, IL and studied at Hubbard Street Dance/Lou Conte Studios in Chicago. After college, Nick joined the national tour of Saturday Night Fever as Dance Captain/Swing was an original cast member in the Las Vegas company at the historic Sahara Resort & Casino. After Las Vegas, Nick joined the national tour of The Will Rogers Follies starring country music star Larry Gatlin. Nick received his Equity card with Portland Center Stage’s production of Cabaret and has performed at various regional theatres around the country.
As a choreographer, Nick has worked on industrials and promotions for Samsung, eBay, ‘The Americans’ on FX, and ABC’s Dancing With The Stars. He choreographed the 2009 Champs Bowl Halftime Show, a Rockers on Broadway performance for Broadway star Nikki Snelson (Legally Blonde, A Chorus Line) and original Pussycat Doll Lindsley Allen’s Cherry Boom Boom in Hollywood.
Nick has also worked for JUMP and Nuvo dance conventions and has been a judge and master-class teacher for StarQuest International and Showstopper dance competitions. Previously, he has taught and choreographed at Walnut Hill School for the Arts in Natick, MA and Midwest Regional Ballet in Missouri.
Nick is thrilled to come to Chicago and work with the youth of SDFA to help them reach their full potential!
