  • Who: Open to those in 3rd Grade and Up! Especially seeking High Schoolers!

What to Prepare:.

  • Singing Audition Info: 

    • Those in 5th grade and under- Will sing a song from the show. CLICK HERE TO LEARN THE SONG STARTING LATE SEPTEMBER.

    • Those in 6th Grade and up - Sing a cutting of a Musical Theatre Song that is Character Driven. An emphasis on more dramatic “Legit” songs would be ideal. Your song cutting should be about 1-minute in length, no full songs will be allowed (We may cut you off once we have heard enough if too long). You must have an accompaniment track with no vocals that you will bring with you to the auditions on a phone, iPad or some type of device.  No A Capella Singing will be allowed!

  • We will have callbacks on Sunday, October 12th if needed from 1:00-8:00. Those called back will sing more from the show, possibly dance and do readings.

Productions Details

  • Rehearsals will be Fridays from 5:00-9:00 and Sundays 1:00-7:00 starting October 17th. (Most will not be needed at every rehearsal until later in the fall.)

  • Tech Rehearsal will be start on Saturday 1/17 and be everyday after school 4:00-10:00 leading up to opening on January 23rd. (There will be daytime tech rehearsal on January 19th as there is no school due to MLK day.)

  • Performances January 23rd - February 1st. There is likely a Thursday Show on January 29th.

  • Tuition will be $500 plus any additional costume fees.

  • An audition form and waiver will be sent to the email address used to sign up on signupgenius the week of auditions with full details. Please watch your email as you will need to fill this out prior to auditions. Make sure you add info@stagedoorfinearts.com to your contacts.
